Andrew Martin seventh at Santa Maria; Bakersfield visit on deck
Andrew Martin's 2026 California 305 Sprint Series presented by Quick Change Liquid Energy schedule took him to Santa Maria Speedway during the recent weekend, and although the young man out of Nuevo, California, kicked things off with a poor qualifying effort, he recovered in a hurry, eventually concluding competition with a seventh-place finish in the evening's main.
Martin, a rookie amongst the 305 sprint ranks, showed perseverance and progress in his Santa Maria outing, and although still relatively shy of the ultimate goal, his hunger to succeed is apparent, already eager to return to action Saturday at Bakersfield Speedway at Kern.
